The house is located on the hillside of the village, on the edge of the vineyards, and its simple forms respect the architectural tradition of the area. The garden, full of flowers, surrounds the house, and the salt-water swimming pool are also part of its charm, as well as the spectacular views of the immense vineyards and the town of Laguardia, famous not only for its wines, but also for its history, heritage and of course, its gastronomy.
The estate has been carefully restored by a team of local craftsmen under the direction of the architecture and interior design studio hiriko estudio. The intervention focused on achieving a harmonious atmosphere that invites to pause. Regarding the decoration, it stands out for its sobriety: the final touches and furniture have been carefully chosen for their natural beauty, the simple shapes, and the sustainability of the materials used.
The interior spaces are dominated by lime mortar walls and a warm, continuous sand-colored terrazzo floor, having the wood present in carpentry and furniture. In the outdoor spaces you will find a palette of earthy colors and the detail of the terracotta-colored clay paving stones. These are inspired by the unique reddish earth of the area, showing a perfect complemented to the green and colorful flowers of the garden, which evoke pure nature.
